Joining Crowthorne Archers

How do I join the club?

If you are an experienced archer but do not have a certificate of completion for an Archery GB Beginners course, you can join by completing a trial club session. Please come and shoot with one of our coaches on a Sunday morning (year round outdoor shooting). There is no charge and the purpose of the session is simply to ensure you know how to be safe on an archery range, and to check that your equipment meets the club’s safety requirements.

By coming along to a club session you can meet other club members and talk with them about the club, to help you decide if you would like to join us.

If you do decide to join, then it is simply a question of completing a brief membership form and paying your joining and membership fee.

Our ‘membership year’ runs from May to April, but you can join the club at any time during the year and we will pro rata your membership fee. Click here for costs.

Does the club have an equipment rental scheme?

Yes. Club members can rent equipment (riser, limbs, string, arrows, bow bag, finger tab, bracer, bow stringer, and finger sling) - click here to see the costs.

What is the membership fee?

Membership of Crowthorne Archers includes your annual membership for both Archery GB and SCAS. If you already have membership of both we will inform both parties that you have joined Crowthorne Archers.
